​The FALCON 2012 Conference Pack has been released.  The conference pack contains presentations, documents and materials from the FALCON 2012 annual conference held in Albuquerque, NM, on October 27-30, 2012.  Click on "Resources" to find the "2012 Conference Pack" document library.

The 2013 RFA for the Tribal Colleges Research Grants Program (TCRGP) is now available.  As in 2012, there are three research options that an institution may apply for – One option per application.  The Visiting Scholar option has also been made available again this year. The due date is February 14, 2013 by 5 pm eastern time (Thursday)

This RFA provides guidance and instruction for both 2013 Equity and Extension funding opportunities.  Equity applications must be received by January 15, 2013 - 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time.  Extension applications must be received by February 28, 2013 -  5:00 p.m. Eastern Time.

The SARE Webinar for 1994 Institutions on May 7 was recorded for viewing.  Please see the attached Powerpoint and audio file to review the Webinar's discussion.
 
USDA SARE grants for 2012 have been announced and the first application deadline (May 16) for the North Central region’s Professional Development Program is rapidly approaching.  The Western SARE region’s Research & Education grants are due by June 6.   Additional grant opportunities will follow throughout the year.
 
SARE programs can support a wide range of sustainable agricultural research, education and production practices that may support your current 1994 extension, education and research work in natural resource management, animal and crop agriculture, community gardening, native plants, diet and nutrition related wellness, and even youth development programs.    
 
The AIHEC American Indian Sustainable Land Practices Network is pleased to host this Webinar as part of its series of technical assistance and training events supported by a USDA outreach grant.
