USDA SARE grants for 2012 have been announced and the first application deadline (May 16) for the North Central region’s Professional Development Program is rapidly approaching.  The Western SARE region’s Research & Education grants are due by June 6.   Additional grant opportunities will follow throughout the year.
SARE programs can support a wide range of sustainable agricultural research, education and production practices that may support your current 1994 extension, education and research work in natural resource management, animal and crop agriculture, community gardening, native plants, diet and nutrition related wellness, and even youth development programs.
The AIHEC American Indian Sustainable Land Practices Network is pleased to host this Webinar as part of its series of technical assistance and training events supported by a USDA outreach grant.
